righto... passed MOT today with no major probs...

Weeping caliper brake pipe replaced, blue side lights and inop washers.

Blue side lights were feckin gash anyway (still in there from previous owner) - replaced with clear ones before retest.
Washers were just a hose off... fixed in 2 mins

Brake caliper was just the join from brake pipe to caliper. The bolt was rounded (by me 'ish' ) so prob just coulnt get it tight enough to give a good seal. Cut off and re-flared and re connected with new fittings.

Emmisons - This is where i was really surprised

RB26DETT - fresh engine about 2000miles ago, fresh head about 600 miles ago. Both CATs removed

CO - 0.26%
HC - 194ppm

that would have passed a CAT test wouldnt it?

it was tested as pre 92 (no cat) so had to be

My old corsa was completly off the scale...

12% and about 2400ppm
