hi all
got pulled by the scum last late after going to town.luckily i only had 1,they pulled me for
PRESSED METAL PLATES 
gutted 
i played dumb though and pretended i didnt know they were illegal.i also had my originals in the boot which backed up my story of me putting my originals on

Mine are velcro so it was 30secs+ an apology for me...

i didnt get a fine cus i acted dumb as if i didnt know lol
just showed them my originals in my boot and they let me go
then done a test to see how reflective they were and it passed that 
they just said about the letter d on my plate

not sure mate,must be.they passed the light test
only issue they had was the letter d on the plate.as to the question about how i got away with my old plates in the boot.you should see what else i got

GOT PULLED LAST NIGHT AGAIN.this time for sticky pads being visable on my normal reg plates where i had pressed ones attached.he also tried giving me a warning about "STREETRACING" i kind of had to argue as my 1.2 8v has as much power as a £1 shop battery
luckily for me,i know the officer who drives a renault laguna 225 before that a focus st in orange 
its only when i said I KNOW YOU he shut up!!!

yes, i think so, because we said they are reflective so are not illegal on that side

they are illegal for the font, and the badge but not because of being reflective, which was stated in the original thread, hence you being 'slated'
