Bit of a vague title but i don't really know the name for the exact piece, it's the bit that the steering wheel directly connects to, i stripped the thread from mine by cross threading the steering wheel nut, doh, anyone got one? Need the little white plastic bit at the bottom with the bearings in and could do with the steering wheel nut too! It's one of these if my description is still cack....

Nice, it was easy enough to get off i just undid the nut at the bottom of it that connects it through to the actual steering rack, obviously took the steering wheel off then had to give it a wack with a hammer for it to come out the bottom end, but by doing that i'm not sure whether it was what caused my bearing race thingy to shatter or if it was already like that as i will need the bearings (working) on the bottom of it!

Absolutely no idea to be honest mate, will have to get somebody else with a bit more parts experience to suggest what its worth i think! Let me know if you manage to get it out without busting the bearings up

Hmm think i'll give it a miss and go to a scrappy! can't see that piece being worth more than about a tenner to be honest, i got a whole steering rack for £14 from the scrappy thanks for your time anyway though mate.
