once a year i have to have my ears syringed out as they just get full of wax until i start going deaf. makes sleeping uncomfortable the lot

anyone else have this happen? any solutions? ive tried going to the doctors, but they give me drops which make it worse, not better.

them stick things? the wax isnt soft enough, and the drops although make it softer, actually make me more unable to hear, ear ache leads to jaw ache and im fucked. its well annoying.

Ive always been under the impression that cotton bud things just make it worse since they clean a bit but also compact it more

yeah, exactly, hence other than syringing, not much can do. which is shit. means i have to book a day off work to go to the nurses to get it done aswell.

Cant you put some warm olive (maybe??) oil in your ear?

Something somewhere i have read about warm oil, cant remember what it was though. Deffo wasnt engine oil though

i always get it bad mate, doc told me not to put my head under water in the bath as dirty water gets behind the wax in causes ear infections! ive had mine shringed(sp) once a yeah for years now. not good! hate it when it makes you go deaf

Got some stuff from Boots which disolves the wax and bubbles to the top and just need to wash it out.

Sounds wrong but works a treat. Think its called 0-tox or something on those lines.
