Hi guys
Sorry if this isn't the right place for this post but here goes....
new to the site just been having a brouse round and decided to register. Used to own a 293 @ the hubs MR2 Turbo but fancied a normal car with better mpg and low on insurance.
Looked at loads of cars then found a 1999 3 door 1.7 Corsa Diesel with a years tax and test immaculate inside and out, full Vauxhall service history and a months warranty on parts and labour for £1500. Not too bad really.
Here she is anyway, bog standard already changed a few parts -
- fitted a Kenwood CD player
- Chrome gear lever surround
- Changed the clocks for ones with the rev counter.
- Debadged the tailgate
Looking at lowering it 40mm all round with some black 15"s and a momo steering wheel and that's it.
I have realised you need arms like popeye without the power steering lol.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Craig

I didn't "get rid" of my MR2 turbo for this, I sold my MR2 bought this and paid off £1500 off a credit card, saved £800 on insurance and saved on fuel. 55 mpg seems a shitload better than 25-30.
I looked at about 15 cars that were all sold, got bored with looking saw this on a forecort with full VSH as mentioned above so I bought it.
