I got a splinter of my bed yesterday, managed to get half of it out my hand, but today I have discovered that theres still some in there

How do ya get them out?

Are they ok to stay there forever?

I got a carbon fibre splinter when I was laying some up the other day. I couldn't get it out no matter how hard I tried. I left it in there and funnily enough my body got rid of it for me All the skin around it dried up and fell off along with the carbon fibre splinter...
