By the way guys, If i download over 5gb in the first 2 weeks does it boot me out? Or can I exceed that as long as I keep my ratio up?

How many warnings can you get?!
Ive only just signed up, so having to download some stuff before I can upload anything, but been giving a wanring for having a ratio below 0.5

You automatically get that warning, just make sure you upload ratio is more than 0.5 asap and don't go over 5gb in the first two weeks if its below 0.5.
If its above 0.5 then you can download as you wish e.g. exceed the 5gb in first 2 weeks.
Just leaving it on and seeding earns you a bonus so its worth remembering that.

Been on all night, all downloads finished now just over 5.5 gig, so will let it seed, im idling in the IRC as well

Why is nobody downloading my seeds? And if I move the downloaded content and repoint the .torrent to it sometimes it tries to download it again?

Think its from now looking at my stats. Have tried not to download too much other than new torrents that I can upload plenty of to get my ratio up. Will take advantage of this free weekend though and leave it running until Monday.

Sweet as ! Almost there with my ratio.
Dont know what I want to download but suddenly feel the need that I need more HDD's!
What does my nut is ive restarted and for some reason my ports which Ive been using arent open and im now not connectable, but ive not changed anything and ive made sure they are open by doing all the settings again :/

You have to top a seed and start it again

only problems i have with sites that monitor your upload is, you download the stuff in a couple of hours, but it takes a week to make the ratio back up, as every one else is doing the same and seeding none stop so you dont ever get to upoad that much.
rapidshare is much better.

Ive setup RSS plugin and auto-download on Azureus to get popular stuff like Heroes and Family Guy as soon as it comes on there, means I'll be the first to download it and begin seeding to others to get my ratio back up.

supertorrents is wank lol. they make it seem really exclusive, but they let loads of people in, then let you buy upload space. the best sites do it to keep the scene alive not to make money of people.

tbh you dont have to buy anything if you dont want, as easy enough to find ways to keep your ratio above whats needed.
Im getting better speeds than I normally do, so happy with this for now atleast!!

This weekend gave me a helping hand to get my ratio up....now at 6.384
Can now download a few of the older stuff that people wont want off me and not do much to the ratio.

what plugin for azureus are you using, ive set it up but just keep getting an error.
something like " malformed rss xml" or something theres nothing on the site about it google didnt help either, im guessing its the pluggin i have installed.

Don't really use ST that much, built my ratio up then kinda left it for ScT 
I use it the odd-times for slightly older bits and peices.
Full throttle download @ 2.7mbps (2,700kb/s)
Also using the RSS Feed with uTorrent, latest shows / films
2 min pre-release so I have them before they're advertised here - LOL
