any ideas to make some money easily?

I.e one off jobs or whatever?

I need about 1.6k for my engine rebuild, and at the mo have a grand in the bank. By the end of next month im thinking after spendature i'll have 1400

So i need to get meself another 300 odd to be on the safe side.

Im lost for ideas. I mean i have some alloys to sell but no-one seems to want them and to be honest nothing else i have lying around would get any profit.

Ideas???

at the mo i work in a bloody coop - 5.85 an hour - i get about 730 a month before tax from 30 hours so not too bad.

I only have a gap year so proper businesses wont take me on.

Parents will not give me a loan. After the stress i case with my cars they'd shoot me

lol.

I was thinking delivering catalogues but no-one round here does it really.

i work 4 days a week, any day except sundays.
Shifts can be anything, normally 8 hours.

I.e - 8 - 3, 12 - 8 ot 3 - 10.15.

as long as it adds up to 30 hours. Meaning its not structured - therefore meaning its an arse to get another job!

Trying a paper round on a sunday but on a sunday would be like 30 quid a week tops, which would be spent.

i fail to understand your point, or relevance to being daft about spending 1600 on a vauxhall engine. its equally as daft to spend on any engine.

a vauxhall engine with a lot of goodies to get it running 165bhp and set up nicely for throttle bodies.

I could just spend 600 on a standard rebuild but with what i want to do its pointless really.

personally i think its good to have an aim to save up for. also, saving, not credit carding is a far better option.

question is, could you not just wait another month?

you obviously dont know me

once i set my mind on something it needs to be done asap whatever way.

Plus ideally i want the engine done to run in a little (say 800 miles or so) before there's really cold weather in the mornings etc.

i was once the same wanting everything done asap. now i find it better to just take more time over it. if something needs saving up and i have to wait, then so be it. afterall, its the same outcome, just maybe have a bit more cash to play with.

making an extra 300 a month is actually quite hard these days, as you often find all the jobs you could have got to help with the cashflow are over ran by immigrants, and places wont take you on.

well with tax theres no point me taking on extra hours at my job.
At the mo i only get taxed 85 quid on 730.

But as soon as i get a few extra hours to get like 850, im taxed 140!
So for an extra 70 quid a month its not worth it imo.
