i know a few people on here have replaced there own diffs...

how did you reset the preload?...
did you just mark the position before you released the tensoin?

did you use the proper crown nut tool?..


how long did it take?


is there any online tutorials?

look on my final drive thread. its hard to measure the preload without the correct tool, mark it up and count the turns off.

its rather easy to guess by hand when re-tightening it.
