crap phone pics, im having the water done in a couple of weeks in black and gray. colour on the koi i a bit bright so might put some more black in.
looks a bit girly at the mo 
very impressed seeing as the guy free handed it on

what does koi represent again? i dont think i could ever have a koi, to me just looks girly/to arty like should be on a painting

Off the top of my head - A Koi swimming upwards (swimming upstream - against the flow - fighting to get anywhere) means you are facing problems to overcome in your life, you're not content with things how they are and are trying to sort them out.
A koi facing down (swimming downstream) means that things are hunky dorey amd ypu're just going with the flow

when were koi cool? i did the star thing have lots, next is pirate tattoos for me. scarification was pretty big 1 night

koi's have been tattood for thousands of years. I haun't got a koi because i think i'm cool. Or because its the in thing. I've got it because of what it represents for me. And i love the traditional artwork behind it. The rest of my sleave will have other artwork that goes with my life and what i want it to show. You because its cool. Everyones koi is swimming downwards, dont think i've seen an upwards one before! What happens if you have it swimming downwards when your life is hunk dorey, then the next day its shit and starts falling apart! 
I like the artwork/skills behind the oriental tattoos but i just dont like them because of all the colours, kind of like a walking comic book!

Cool, i can understand why your getting one drunkenfool, it has alot of meaning for you which you can justify and can look back in years to come and it still retains its meaning!

Exactly Ive been thinking about it for about ayear now and not changed my mind, i really cant see me ever regretting it. Its not like im getting "twat" tattood on my face in a drunken stuper hahaha

sambuca burn, much better than using a scalpel and leaves a real scar you can see
