Ten years ago a 90 year old man put a bet on that he would live to be 100. Hes just picked up his £25000 winnings!

what so gorden brown gets his grubby little fingers on it? No thanks.

If you give a gift (money etc ) to a family member you will still have to pay inheritance tax on it (40%). The only way you can get round this is if they gave you the gift and have lived for 7 years on more then you dont have to pay it

25k are you sure? Ive never been into a bookie so i wouldnt know. Surely a bank transfer?

I was stating that if he was to put it into a bank account and the pop his clogs.

I dont know what happens if a gift is cash and is handed down to a family member and then they die
