Right don't want to cause a stir but....

i used to own a corsa gsi all for about 4 weeks before i scraped it and i always thought it was fairlly quick, night before last i was minding my own buisness when i had a grey corsa gsi over take me in my saxo vtr,

I sat there and thought i wonder if i can play catch up so i caught up with him, to be honest we had a bit of a play down the bypass and there wasnt much in it .

i then pulled over and the owner asked me what i had done to my vtr, i said nothing apart from air filter and back box, he was like oh ! he had a mantzel, pipercross viper and a stainless cat back system, he said he was dissapointed to find out mine was only a standardish vtr,

But after owning both i would still say the corsa is a better built car, thats why im buying another lol

he was a prat then. he shud have been able to easily beat the VTR if he had those mods . a gsi is faster then a VTR as standard

ive had a little play with a vtr and we were about equal, dont know the spec of it (was stripped out with a cage so probably quite light) mines a fairly standard gsi (rr at 120bhp)

It was alot quicker off the mark though, but i assume this is a weight issue
