expect to pay around 5k upwards for one.

i paid 5k for mine with 37k on the clock, eibach springs and the wheels, mine also has climate control...... ace

the differences are as follows:

3mm lower
lower cup front splitter (dont break this as its about £120+vat for a new one!!!)
Larger rear spoiler
Revised suspension (stick some eibachs on and it makes a huge difference)
20mm wider front track
89kg lighter
no air con
no spare
no side air bags
no xenons
less sound deadening
no abs
no traction control
3 degrees more front castor
10mm wider rear track
16x7" speeline turinis
no leather
thinner glass

thats out the original sales brochure.

expect power to be around 165-168bhp as standard, few cheap mods are:

matching the inlet ports
silicone elbow for the inlet pipe
panal filter
eibachs
decat and stelth exhaust system, big tail pipes look wank!

join cliosport.net, loads for sale on there

You won't get a 172 with cup packs, only the 182 has that option. The 172 only came as a cup or 'full fat.'

i have a 172 cup with climate control, it was an option, but one of only 103 made with it, so hard to find!

id have a cup over the full fat any day.

trohpy is an ace clio, but the price tag is a bit steep IMO!

if you want something with leather and toys then avoid the cup. its not made for pussies............

the only thing that bugs me about them is the fact that if your tall you can see the dials/warning lights properly unless your uncomfortable.

talking about clutches, mine has lasted 2k miles in the corsa and is on its way out fine on the road but slips on the dyno trying to hold it under load at over 4500 rpm

that may be why. go for a helix paddle and pressure plate, try just the helix plate and a new standard pressure plate, nice and not to heavy. its what i used for a while with no problems.
