Well buying for a friend really.

Corsa 04 plate 22k miles, 1.2 16v.
Just a standard corsa, listed for £3,600
Private sale.

I was wondering how much could you reasonably haggle the price down to?
How much would you expect to pay for a car listed as 3.600?
What should my opening offer be?? ie, I can state my budget and offer to stretch it. Where should that initial budget be.

Haven't really bought a car before, so thinking this would be the best place to ask for a bog standard corsa.

Thanks./

Yeah, well worth it. They're probably looking for £3500.

Saw a Design today. Had SXi rear lights but no alloys. Interior is probably very similar.

Design has aircon as standard. Check how many owners it's had - most Designs have been driving school cars.

Doesn't really matter now.
Did a RAC/HPI check and revealed insurers had written it off, and is now a 'Cat D'. Seller seemed to miss that fact in his advert.
