Heres the story:
Stayed over at my girlfriends on Monday night, as we were both working at similar times on Monday. Shes goes off to work at 8am and leaves me in bed. Comes running in 5 mins later, shouting "you won't f*cking believe it, little chav b*astards", so I says to her "whats wrong?" so she says come and look at your car, so out I go (half asleep) to see this mess:

Girlfriend couldnt believe it (something similar happened with my first car outside her house about 2 1/2 years ago, but she lives in a really nice area) and started blaming herself. Coudlnt believe it. And of all the fooking nights, Id left my wallet in the car with all my bank cards, driving licence and £100 (I never carry cash in m wallet and probably havent left my wallet in my car for 12 months) so of all the nights for them to break in. They ended up taking:
CD Player
Wallet with 2 bank cards, driving licence and £100 cash
Ashtray with £10ish in change
So reported it to police (who as usual did absolutely nothing), forensics came out and brushed some powder on my carbon centre console (which did absolutely fook all except mess up the interior and the carbon). Then called my insurance company who said it would cost me £150 excess to replace the stereo and window but id lose my no claims, so I told them where to stick it :x so paid £85 cash to autoglass for the window and £22 to dvla (robbing b*stards) for a new driving licence and cancelled all my cards.
Then got into work at dinnertime after chasing around like a blue-arsed-fly, to find out that the weekly football score quessing results were in and there were 4 joint winners with 7 points, so I checked my sheet and thought, hang on a sec, Ive got 9 points, before realising Id filled in my sheet but forgot to pay my £1 entrance fee, so lost out on £40 which should have been mine........bollox.............then my team (Burnley) got knocked out of the carling cup by portsmouth after David Nugent, an ex preston player (local rivals) handballed a pass before scoring............OFFICIALLY the worst Tuesday of my life!!!!!!
But my week is looking up, won a touch screen Clarion CD player (with removeable face) for £71 on ebay, and have just been to pick up a set of GTI 180 wheels for a bargain £170 with tyres, and picking up a cup holder to replace my stolen ashtray.

Bastards.
Look on the bright side. No-one was hurt, and the 'only' smashed the glass, which is easily replaceable as you've discovered. Would be a whole lot worse if they keyed and kicked your car etc.
