As the title suggests, ran my car with low oil for the space of maybe 2 weeks...dont know where all the oil went to as i check it quite often and didnt relise it didnt have any in untill the oil light came on round a corner...
i have changed the oil since and its developed a clicking on idle and can hear it on the bottom end of the revs 1400 is where its most vacant.
Going to see my mechinic today, but was just wondering what i might be looking at??? seems like its gonna be pricey if its cams...hoping for just an adjustment on it like but we cant all be so lucky
any idea wud be great help

Adjustment on what? Theres nothing to adjust.
Worst scenario, is the big end shell's, tho they usually give a deep knocking with the engine under loud.

It'll be fine
Oil light can come on when you corner hard and the oil isn't topped up but it shouldn't damage it.
