i'd be worried about their safety when they're at school as any parent would but not enough to warrant them missing out on all the benefits that school provides like developing social skills and sports etc.

No, though I wouldn't send my kids to half of the state schools I have been to through my job. Private schools only, keeps all the common thugs out as they are usually too poor to pay for anything.

why?!

Kids have got to go through these things in life, no need to be worried IMO.

not too the extent where i'd be a jibbering wreck or anything .
its just with the way this country seems to be going it seems increasingly possible that your child could get stabbed before they hit high school.

Yeah, but they are posh thugs, just not common thugs.

BTW- My sis went to private school and its def a better education than majority of standard state schools.

No - socialising is a major part of going to school. Keeping them at home is asking to have a gay/weird/mental son or daughter.

Possible. Depends if the social decline keeps getting worse.

Donnas primary school recently added police guards due to a huge fight between the kosovan/polish Vs English..... At 10 years of age, some were hospitalised.. It used to be a nice little school she said....

Keeping them at home doesn't mean they will be a weirdo if you bring them up right. Take them out, let them experience everything they can. And you can build social skills without going to school. Clubs, activites etc...

And who says private schools are better? All the private school boys I knew (a lot due to playing rugby), were far worse. ITs just they had the funds to do things, they would buy a lot more drugs n such. In fact, some of the things i've heard about private schools made public look tame.... Cannot deny that the education is much better though, made to go to school for longer during the week, and made to go in for 1/2 days on saturdays!!! Harsh, but all those that went and stayed out of trouble are doign REALLY well for themselves now.

Not all private schools are like that.

A lot are run just like state schools in terms of curriculum and schooling hours...they just have more money to offer smaller classes and better facilities.

I know a girl who has been home schooled since shes 11, she may be slightly odd to some people..

But shes kind and dear and a really friendly person, she was bullied horribly when she was at secondary school and nothing was done about it, so her mum decided to take her out and have her home schooled.

Shes a great, really nice girl, and has more respect and morality than nearly all of the stupid cunting bitches you find around these days who socialise to become utter bitches.
