was at bigdans meet the other night and my gf decided to sit in the middle of my bonnet. i told her to gtf off as it would dent it so she slid down it to the floor (it isnt dented as she is only 6 stone) but this morning in the light i noticed two 12inch scratches right down the middle of the bonnet (off buttons)

she said she wants too pay for it sprayed, or buy me angel eyes, or some springs for the rear too drop it 90 mm, but she cant really afford it imo. and i dont like taking cash off her ever, it was an accident so i dont think she should buy me anything tbh.

she keeps nagging on that she knows i love my car and she feels terible!!!

going to get it badboy'd soon so it will need spraying in anycase so i dont care.

would you take up her offer? thinking off going halfies on springs tbh or let her buy them then buy her something of equal value for her as a suprise to compensate

Nah dont acept the money off her, just get a badboy and get it sprayed yourself.

As for her im sure you can think of something she can do now and agen to make up for the damage

I reveresed my missus' car into the window sill at my student house, big old Victorian stone sills; my fault, I have to pay for it. Even though it was only a 1" dent, I felt so guilty I paid for a couple of other minor jobs at the same time......

Make her feel guilty about it, then make her pay financially and emotionally

seriously though, if she hasn't got the money and you were having work done anyway, just pay for it and let her treat you to pizza and a movie or something instead.
