Just totalled up all the work I need to do to my car to get it on the road. Fuck its costly, 2 weeks work to put it on the road, but it il be worth it
Welding to be done on Cross-member, exhaust, rear inner arches, wheel well, maybe cassis legs (Havent checked them thoughly let, but I might plate them anyways, make sure they stay strong) - £30 odd.
4 New tyres, tracking & balancing done, £180?
New brakes all round, I have new disks, pads, hoses and can make new lines, just need 2.0 calipers. Got new rear shoes and hand brake cables too £50 odd
New wiper blades and other tiny bits £20
Underseal the bastard, stop any more rust
Tax & MOT - £110 odd
Total = £390
Fuck sake, all this on a 1.2, mind you, it will be perfect afterwards, whole lot will be renewed really, so all is good

Needs all the tracking done, was thinking after maybe £35 a tyre, delivery, balancing and tracking it would come to £180, just guesstimates

I'd never put part worn unbranded tyres on my car... I'd expect to be paying £50-£60 a corner for decent rubber..
However, I bought a front and rear tyre for my motorbike recently and that was £215

£390... wish mine was that cheap.
i have to pay 450 a month just on the car - 210 for finance and 240 for insurance.
then there's the petrol costs - around £60 a week at the moment so thats 240 - 250
so just paying 700 a month to run the car as normal and then there's money to pay for lowering - 135, wheels - 400 and exhaust - 300

You think that's expensive! I just totalled up the costing for the work on my head today, looking at around £2300 just for the head.
