Matt what are your reasons for going?
I've had the idea of going to Krakow on the backburner for awhile now, just need a few hundred quid and a mate and I'm there for a weekend

It's meant to be just a shitter version of Prague, or so I've been told. I've heard some horror stories of English Lads been targetted by the locals for muggings and just general violence.

I have a few Polish lads work for me and they say even they would be apprehensive about going out there at night, and that foreigners are regular easy targets to beat fuck out of for no reason.

i've been, was a college trip and had a guide showing us round. i thoroughly enjoyed myself as its steeped in history which i'm well into. Auschwitz isn't far away and is definately worth a visit.
i went in february and it was very snowy and fairly cold so if you're going in winter make sure you wrap up etc
theres quite alot of bars etc, but i don't remember seeing ay clubs or anything although i was 16 maybe 17 when i went
