yeah, i imagine its just a socket to do the hub nut and then a pry bar to pop it out?

Nope.

Undo hub nut, 24mm iirc. (screwdriver in the disc helps)

10mm allen key for brake carrier.

17, 18 or 19mm spanners, can't remember. For the suspension strut

Leave ball joint attached to hub, undo from the bottom arm though.

Leave track rod end.

Move hub out of way and level the shaft, push shaft in, then pull to get it out.
