but then they were standard.

More cars out there, his lose. I personally wouldn't go any higher than 6k.
I know you want a Golf but have you considered a 307, same sort of size. Seen an 05 plate one on Sunday with 20k on the clock. Don't know about service history but was a 2.0 HDI. I considered buying it but the sales guy pointed out that i'd get pennies for the Corsa buying a cheap used car. It was only 5.5k. You could get him down to 5k i recone.
I'd never buy an ex company or rental car. We all know how much abuse we give them

colin, personally i wouldnt pay 6.5k for it, seems over priced. i would have thought u could get one with half the mileage for that price

99k's not that much for a VAG PD engine.....only 14k a year!!
