i thought that the insurance for a car thats had a engine swap goes by the donor cars insurance group

nope lol cos a cav sri insurance would be dirt cheap as they weight loads.....
ill ring them tommrow get qutes for all three

dependant on the engine so was cheapest to insure on a cavalier gsi

yeh the insurance for me on a calibra is less than the nova.

i guess nova.
tigra is in higher insurance grp than corsa (on same engine), and nova is old and not worth much, so reckon that'd be cheapest. (same as 300zx insurance can be cheaper than 200sx insurance)

as above, but a number of companies wont even insure a conversion. Adrain Flux for one go by the donor car.

Nova wont be cheapest, the easiest out of the 3 to break into

yes and you most likely to die if you crash ll ring when i get in from optician and ring flux for 3 quotes ill let everyone one know. ill go for the Merit donor cars and a 1.4 tig

flux said they would use the dnor vechile so it would make no odds.
its £1460 with 1yncb and 3points
but its an exstra £88 a month on insurance i could see i could be tempted if the right one came along

Buy an XE corsa be less hassle and you may get some diginity back....not much but its a start 
In all seriority buy one thats been done get someone to check over it and get your moneys worth.
