hi
ive got a corsa gsi c20xe
a yr ago abs light came on so took it to 3 garages and they cudnt find the prob, my m8 came rnd and tested the sensors found a faulty 1, replaced it and 6months later same prob but light only came on now+again but now its been on perm for 2months and ive got mot in a wk.
do u guys think due to the age all the sensors are goin to start to fail????

personally i would just remove the fuse and remove the bulb from behind the dash the brakes work so much better without the ABS you'll wonder why you didnt do it before

check the rear wheel pick up rings inside the drum are clean. I have seen a lot of cars that have had similar problems that have been to other garages that cant solve ABS issues, its usually down to faulty connections in the sensor plug, dirty sensors or pickups.

This happened to me and it turned out to be fooked abs module.(Very expensive new) I managed to get one for £65 so i just Replaced the ecu part and its been fine ever since

My siters Tigra had a similar problem and was told it was a problem with the loom.
You cant just take the fuse and bulb out as your MOT tester wants to see it light up and go out again when you turn the ignition on.
Abit of wire sorts that if you have air bags

wont pass an mot as the light has to come on then go off if abs is fitted
