Just joining the expressway through Runcorn, car decided to start bogging down... no power

Ok I thought, so limped it to the Shell station just off the expressway near the hospital, and wow it's like a Sauna was under the bonnet

Lifted it, steam coming from the rear of the engine Coolant check message on the dash, but the coolant was only about 1/3 a pint down on what it was when I left home... 12.4 miles...

So looking at either:

HBV has given the ghost round the back, pissed a bit of coolant on the coilpack and caused it to run a bit shitty aswell.

Thermostat stuck shut and caused it to blow coolant from the rear, again on dispack...

Oil cooler sealing plate didn't hold after just being done - again pissing on coilpack...

Some random leak at the rear combined with fucked leads & plugs as it also just had the camcover gaskets done & all plug wells were piss-wet through with oil (not now since being done though)

Headgasket

Been out for a quick drive to my nans & back (about 8 miles in total) car was fine

Moaned about low coolant as well, it was low... but other than that no major problems to report...

Still, its going away on Saturday for repairs...

Its an automatic and rear wheel drive, so you can't tow it the other way without damaging the box.
