Anyone know where I can find Insurance groups for older cars ie. 80s/90s, specifically a mk2 1990 Golf GTI 16v?

Insurance groups probably aren't applicable to most older cars. TBH insurance groups are a waste of time 99% of the time.

insurance groups are a load of rubbish and give no indication as to whether you can get insured on a car.

you best just making a list of cars you like and shopping round for quotes.

Quick comparison-

im 20, one years NCB and can easily get insured on Nissan 200SX's, Vauxhall Cavalier and Calibra Turbos and Volvo S40 T4's and 850 T5's as well as shite loads of other stuff

I'm ringing my insurance tomorrow fingers crossed they will insure me on an XR3i i've seen!!
