If a snake should start swallowing its own tail, how far would it get?
And just in case.

I can see your thinking, but just remember that if it is constantly swallowing itself, the tail will just keep going inside itself........

tbh i think the problem lies with trying to find a snake willing to swallow itself in the first place!

but it wont just keep going inside it self because the tal cant go in the tail an once its started swallowing itself it wont be able to coil up so will only be able to swallow half its body

But thats the point. In theory, the tail can go inside itself.

No, thats just impossible. It would go half its original length.
Also it could never happen in reality

I disagree, and I don't want to resort to drawing pictures.

LOL DAN
half its length, well a bit less, if you think it would carry on in a circle forever you are silly

but it could never get to its own tail by swollowing its self because it can not coil up an if it coils up inside its self it is still not going to get to its tail

I know it can't continue forever, but that is just to show that in theory, it could make itself 1/3 the length it was before.

Obviously not, I could have told you that.

so in theory then it can only swallow a bit more than half its body

I could have drawn it with an extra turn, to show 1/4 its length.
