Been sent a tip from a from a usually quite reliable source, dog running at Romford tonight 10.08 trap 5 Eye Onthe Veto. Currently 11/8 at Ladbrokes get the best price possible as apparently plenty of money is coming in for this.
Hopefully pay for the weekend beer tokens.
Your choice if you want to back it, if it loses dont shoot the messenger, dont bet what you cant afford to lose etc. etc.

I feel I'm not gonna see my £20 again... It's a 6 dog race, and I personally never find that the 'expected favourites win' / the odds arn't worthy of the gamble.

I got 13/8 odds.

eye on the veto won last 2 times he run, beat droopys vernon last time friday by 7 and 3/4 lengths and he beat jazz hurricane the week before that by 8 lengths, both at romford

If a horse is winning a lot they load it up with weight.

I prefer Jazz huricane's odds...

5/2 I think = 2.5 * my money... + my bet back.

At that odds, I could do a E/W bet on Jazz huricane... and do like £100 and get most of my money back if he comes 2nd - and get a whole load if he wins.

The dog is a class above the other dogs but in dog racing anything can happen e.g slip at a bend etc.

Problem is when someone is that confident of the dog... and I know how gutted I'll be after if I didn't wager more, it just makes me want to bet more..
