Why is the Government making such a big deal about this?

Someone sends you a text you dont like - delete it.
Someone sends you and email, adds you to MSN, whatever - delete it.

Seriously, its not so fucking hard to get away from this. I'd be more concerned about the bullies who go old skool and decide to kick your head in instead.

it doesnt matter what age they are though, its not like they are being forced to read this shit.

People say nasty stuff all the time, its not bullying, just delete the message and get on with your life. If they start hurting you physically then deal with it.

People need to get a grip TBH.

it must be a serious issue for them to be making such a fuss. I got bullied a little at school and they were "old school". you dont realise at the time that there are ways to stop it. i can totally understand how some of these kids must feel when they have no escape from bullies.

I wont stand for any shit these days. i've come face to face with 2 of the lads that used to bully me in recent years and dropped the bastards. still got a couple i'd love to run into. bullying makes me sick, i cant stand to watch it let alone be on the recieving end.

I have no problem with dealing with bullying when its physcal, as you cant really get away from this.

But spending money on all these stupid adverts to prevent internet bullying is just a waste, just teach kids to hit the delete button, and then spend the money stopping kids getting their heads kicked in.

Yeah i was on the phone when i wrote that, wasnt really concentrating... i meant to say they're only 10, they dont know how to delete emails and texts What will the texts say anyway? "You smell" "Im going to give you a knuckle sandwich" "You're fat" "Your clothes are too small for you haha"

I mean wake up, if they're in secondary school, getting the shit kicked out of them day to day fair enough, but they're not its just texts and emails

Easy enough to say cosmo, but if some people are in your face all day, at school or whatever and then sending e-mails and txts out of school, you can see where the frustration comes from, they can't get away from it.

as I said, if its physical (i.e. not just online) then fine, deal with that shit straight away and as hard as possible on the bullies.

But these adverts arent really targeting that at all. Its about people posting nasty message on MySapce and Bebo, and sending texts and chatting on MSN.
