Don't drive into town, u'll regret it

As Willay said, check that site, should cover all you need to know.

What kinda hotel/budget?

Greenwich is a good area to stay in, then catch the DLR into the city (via docklands).

North Weald is about 15minutes from mnie, I suggest you stay in the new Travel Lodge (built last year or so) in Harlow:

http://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hotel/hotel.php?hotel_id=268

That will leave you 15-20 mins from the show, easy easy drive. Check postcodes on google maps.

Also, from Harlow you can get a fast train into London (London Liverpool Street) which will leave you in the city of london with very good links to the underground (Central, metropolitian, circle etc).

The 'fast' train from Harlow Town to London Liverpool Street takes about 35 minutes, if you want to get into west london you can get off the station b efore Liverpool Street called Tottenham Hale, which has an underground link for the Victoria line

u2u me if you want any more help.

not read it all, but if you stay in the business section near tower bridge it was pretty cheap on weekends, think it was like 40 pound for a night and it was a good hotel, i gave it up to go stay with my gf at the time in a novotel

Loooow, but funny. They know im joking, same way we're southern shandy drinking fairys....

Kurts right, u'll find its cheaper to stay in town on the weekend as its mostly dead (bar tourists). All the shops/pubs etc all shut round here at the weekend as theres no trade. During the week its rammo'd though.

I go past a hotel in Greenwich (I come back through Greenwich park on the way home), the rates are like £90 for a weekday, and £60 for a weekend night???

Go anywhere else, and its the other way round
