is it true that the mk1 saxo vts's are quicker than mk2's?

if so why?

heard it said loads of times but never questioned it

ive herd mk1s are 130bhp and the later are 120bhp :S

no, there was a run of engines in between them adding the oil cooler and egr valve that were supposed to make more power, but that was just for a year or two, not as clear cut as mk1 and mk2

old 1 - 100bhp

I like Saxo's my mates got one, black VTS with standard alloys painted white (the 5-spoke ones). Looks quality. Before i got my red corsa i went looking at a standard blue VTS.

mk1 or mk2?

imo they ruined the later type with those girly round eyes, mk1 looks much more agressive
