As some will know, you have to pay Sales tax on stuff you buy in the States. If your a non-resident I believe you can claim it back when you leave...

Has anyone done this before, please - do tell.

Get a form, send it back when you get home along with your recipts.

or

Go to a company at the airport, get a form off of them, give them your recipt and get your money there and then.

The whole things a scam because they all charge you a percentage commision, or as I like to call it, tax. You end up getting fuck all back. When I stayed in Canada for 4 months I took every recipt back and only ended up with about £80 after, even though I had spend many thousands of dollars in that time.
