I was a member of a gym in 1999 and paid £215 for the year. I used to go 3-4 times a week, concentrating on differant body parts on each visit. I then stopped going and didn't really do anything for a few years but occasionally did some weights at home. Occasionally went to a gym the other year, I was on steroid medication at the time and saw some good gains! I was paying £6 per visit and went twice a week. Didn't keep it up and just did the weights at home again (I'm no longer on the medication!) Been playing football for just over a year so I'm a lot fitter than I was too, plus doing the sports day on Friday showed that I'd lost quite a bit of pace too, although I'm quite fast at footy.
So seen as though I'm more active than I've ever being nows the time to re join the gym, its £22 p/month working out at £264 a year, and as I work around the corner it seems convieniant too. Plus I'll get to use their car park whilst at work!
See how long it takes me to start lifting the weights I was last year!

Would I need to cut down then if I started using them
Or is it a case of the more the better???

Plus if you beat the meat, you can knock up a protein shake of your own.

During my 3 months on them I put about half a stone on and was bench pressing 70kg, and lifting 20kg free weights. Won't be as much as you lift, but considering I was just turning up once a week I don't think thats too bad. Its more than I lifted when I regularly went.

Im not disputing your gains, i'm merely pointing out you didn't get them from steroid medication

Maybe I thought it was the steroids helping me I don't know. I was told at the hospital that they had the same properties and that I would gain weight, which I did. I then started going to the gym, maybe I was just trying harder than I was last time around. Either way I built up a lot more than I did in 3 months than I did in a years membership.

the more the better. 20grams of anadrol before and after breakfast then sip a vial throughout the day

i dont think ive seen massive size gains although thinks are starting to change after four months of going to the gym.
iam currently bench pressing 90k, deadlifting 200k and free weight sholder pressing 30k dumbells.
