me and a couple of mates are thinking of booking a a holiday to magaluf in mid oct £185 each...we are staying in
FIESTA MAGAMAR apartments
just wondering if any1 has stayed at the hotel or give me some info about the place itself...read some reveiws of the apartments and its not great..described like a prison and sounding like 1, throwing bottles off balconies and violence :S
where have ppl stayed in the past

I stayed about 2 miles out of magaluf, and it was a lot better. Had a lovley wee appartment, and tbh didnt go back into magaluf lol

i think the fiesta jungular hotel out there is the place to be.
i went about a month ago for a few days, its alright but nothing special, full of chavs tanked up on cheap vodka really. Magaluf is really what you make it, dont expect to go there and be wowed by anything. Your going a bit late into the season aswel............. should have chosen Ibiza...........(im there next week  )

late in the season is it a bad thing? out of interest how much is it to go to ibiza...magaluf is only £185...must be the cheap hotel tho, its supposed to resemble a prison

well id say it could be a bad thing, i dont know but i can imagine it not being as busy out there = not as many ladies.
ibiza is pretty expensive, we booked early and it was £200 for flights and 4nights, hotel is shit though but we dont do much sleeping.
You will need about £130 a day spending money out there though

i went in the middle of june, it was ok but nothing special... it is what you make it though! my mate crashing a scooter into an on coming car and another getting mugged didnt help really
i wouldnt personally go back, but maybe thats me getting old

Magamar is liek a prison block, stayed there last sep, its ok to stay in just spend all day at the beach or chip up the road to the Jungla and chill in tehre pool allday, the good thing about the magamar is the beddromd look in and have windows in and you allways get girls in rrooms below that feel the need to be naked whil in there rooms

dont stay there if you enjoy your sleep. i got about an hour each night. was maddness - but such a good laugh
stay CLEAR of the guardia civil. i got lifted on the first night, wallet taken and then nearly kicked in by the bastards in the middle of a field.

I came back from magaluf last night....well we stayed in parmanova about a 10 minute walk from magaluf which was good really as it had a good beach an that.... Its still pretty busy especially over the weekend, but as dave said it was a bit of a sasuagefest in BCM on thursday as the night drew on, which was a bit crap....
All in all though it was a decent holiday, i'd consider going back next year.

Yeah we heard more and more stories as the holiday went on of people randomly getting picked, wallets taken then given a slight kicking in.

Civil Guard.
You get the Policia Local (drive around in red / yellow people carriers) and ride wee bikes
Then my "mates" the Civil Guard. Nut cases that carry guns and basically grabbed me, chucked me in the back of the car and took me for a drive.
