Been looking through the trader etc and can pick them up for about 3k

What tends be be the problems with these if any?

Get the vts if you're going to buy a saxo.. can get one way cheaper than 3k like Steve said, so you can use the spare money you have for insurance

There cheap and cheerful cars mate, 2 of my mates own them and love them, they handle very well and are just as quick as a corsa GSI

I'll have a look at VTS's as well. I don't do many motorway miles. Just looking for a bit of fun.

vts is the one you want then dan.. i have seen those cars shift and its a hell of alot compared to the vtr

as for VTR's, they are one of the cars I hate the most. theres not 1 single thing I like about them, shit quality, shit to work on, every bolt is rusted and snaps and they are generally shite.

definately go for one then. With the right exhaust setup they can sound great and you get a great performance out of them

Look at the 106gti's aswell. i was going to buy one untill i decided i wanted somthing a bit more comfy and couldnt be bothered how quick the car was. so i got the bmw lol

No - what is annoying is just had some new tyres fitted. Took them back and they said that somebody had slashed my tyres.

If your goin to look at the VTS then deffo go for the 106gti instead, they look a million times better IMO

remember the insurance difference between the VTS/GTI and the VTR is massive

Thats true, either there so rusted on, theyve welded theirselves on, or their torx heads, and rusted and as soon as you put a bit of preasure on, they round off
