Tbh mte don't waste your money on one of them, and don't waste your money on a power boost valve either. What kind of car do you have?

to be fair, the scallywag has had 3 people ask him whether they will fit their cars in the last day so he must be making a fortune from them.

Nps You won't see any gains what so ever from any of those mods, so just keep saving until you can afford to get it re-mapped. With the mods you have you should see a decent gain.

cheers mate. i just thought they would give some gains an i have heard alot of things about these an also read that they are used on touring cars.
they spin upto 25000 rpm which isnt slow an tbf they work on the same principal as a turbo or super charger by forcing air into the cylinders?

Its basically a computer fan, will more likely reduce air flow, its a total rip off. You could make one for £5.

why do people try and talk about stuff like they know what they are on about when they really dont have a clue.

fair enough if you have no clue ask an innocent question but dont go on about stuff when its all crap

i was looking at getting one of these but didnt because it says it spins at 25000 rpm but my rev counter only goes to 7000 tpm so i was worried the forced induction would kill my engine

using this page

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/turbo.htm

it explains how a turbo spins up to 150,000rpm and gives a 40% gain. so, if an electric one spins to 25,000rpm, which is 6 times less, if you divide 40% by 6, you get roughly 6.7% which means that you will effectively see a 6.7% increase in power. so at 100bhp, it will take the stock wheel horse power up to 106.7

or have i got that wrong? sorry if i dont understand it
