. . .and I must say, I liked it quite a lot.
Still looks too big compared to the new Clio and Corsa for a 'small hatch' car but I'd definitely consider one. Had funky chrome door mirros and strange shaped exhaust, which didn't look chav and made the car look the part. The car was red itself and suited it very much. I wonder what it looks like in black though with matte silver door mirrors.
Has anyone driven one before? Or driven one of these, Corsa VXR and Clio Renaultsport thing?
Anyway, that was the highlight of my day

lol no, but if I won quite a bit of money, it'd be added to my list a long with the Corsa VXR and Reanaultsport Clio. I don't personally like the Fiesta ST anymore and the Polo GTi doesn't seem "hot" enough.

Is it me or is it just a 206 with different headlights and bumpers?

Dealer had one in the other day, the mirrors are massive (too big), but the seats are really comfortable.

the 180 was let down by abysmal gearing.

Back doesn't look too bad. Interior looks quite good but not been in one so could be cheap and nasty for all I know. Front is awful. Not a clue what its like to drive.
Is there any reason why all 207's have that curve that follows the line of the front wheel arch into the bumper and then randomly goes to a different shape? Makes it look totally cack and like an afterthought!

I think it looks more like a shrunken 307 than facelifted 206 tbh.

Nice shape IMO except for the front arch. How is build quality? Robust engine?

I totally disagree. I was approaching a mini-roundabout when I saw it, and knew straight away it wasn't a bog standard 207. Looks a lot lot better than standard.
