a guy bought some depo smoked headlights of me.
they were advertised a depo smoked headlights and had a picture aswell
here is the picture
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/4212/depos.jpg
he pays, i send them out.
after a few days he tells me there not what he wanted and want to return them to me, i say ok send them back ill refund the cost but not the postage or fees as it wasnt my mistake.
its been nearly 2 weeks to 3 weeks and i get a message today saying he is sending them back
why only now? hell im housebound and i manage to get someone to post stuff for me.
so ive said if he send me them back and they are in the same condition i sent them in,"undamaged and with level motors" i will re-fund the cost only,. not the postage or fees.
i mean for all i know he has got them used them for the trax show and is now sending them back .
it isnt my fault, i didnt mislead in the description. and he has had them 2 to nearly 3 weeks.
i have told him he is best selling them onto someone else as itll be the best way to re-coup his money
am i being unfair?
i dont think so do you??

seems fair to me, he could have bought them, broke them and is trying to pull a fast one by screwing you over.

woah CAPS FUCKING LOCK
where they bought on here? im sorry but can you not tell from the picture that they are smoked?
i wouldnt offer a refund as it was your mistake so your getting quite a good deal, also not refunding the ebay fees is fair aswell, your better off selling them on.
and on the postage count, it costs money to package them aswell, so dont think it only cost 9quid to send. all be it it might not of cost 15, but you agreed to pay that much postage when you bought them so quit your moaning about that

Postage isn't just royal mail courier fares tbh. Wrapping, boxes etc all need to be included and he may not have easy access to a post office etc.

they were advertised as depo smoked headlights.
with the above picture.
i have all corrospondence i never once said they were "clear"
i said i would take them back given they are in the same condition as i sent them out in i-e undamaged, and with level motors
i would refund the cost of the lights minus the postage and paypal fees
and seen as you decided to threaten me i dont think i want them back
and also while were at it, level motors are £15 each, i included these pre-fitted, buy any set brand new they DO-NOT come with level motors so as for overcharging
like i said its upto you. if i were you i would sell them on and re-coup your money that way
they were advertised clearly, and you were happy.
so they are yours and yours to do what you will with.
i offered a compromise and you decided to threaten me.

i think you're being more then fair adam. You don't have to even offer him a refund on the item let alone on the p&p. If they were damged etc fair enought, but not if you have just changed your mind. As a buyer you should read the ad proper and ask question before buying an item

personally wouldnt bother with the refund at all, they were as described so it was his fault he bought the wrong thing. Your not a shop who will offer refunds and exchanges to every thick customer who doesnt buy the right thing.
And as for the threat...'I travel around with the fair' no wonder you dont want these light, I doubt they'll fit your caravan.
