Ive had a VRS and it is an awesome buy now.

It used the mk4 Golf/bora platform, the 180TT engine setup, and has a gorgeous interior.

I had one whilst my brother was running an A4 1.8T and apart from the badge the audi didnt feel or drive any better tbh.

you wont get the perfomance/overall package with a 3 series or Audi unless you go for an older model.

5 k should get you a good 51 plate octavia VRS. Go look/drive one, I dont think you will be disappointed.

i havent mate, pretty sure its going to be one of them 3, think the VRS sounds the best value. Think I should test drive all of them, any ideas what models I should try in the Audi and BMW?

Oh and the Honda i dont think I could insure.
