Basically, this car is a friend of mines. See here for more details...www.ppp-106.co.uk

After completing a 300 mile trip, was due to be mapped tomorrow at Emerald.

Sadly, this happened...

So much hard work, and gone in the space of minutes.

Sorry its not my car. A friend of mines. If you follow the link you will see how much hard work has actually gone into the car. I feel awful for him.

The car was ready for its first competition at brands on saturday, they booked a VIP box and were having champers and stuff to celebrate its first outing. Sadly hes drowing his sorrows in that champagne tonight

I think thats how hes feeling right now. I wouldnt know what to do, I feel very sorry for him, and the guys at EBD who spent so long preparing the car. To be honest no pay out is going to cover it.

No one knows, all he said is he hasnt got a clue because it was running so beautifully before. He also said his extinguisher was useless against it.

Rallyes have a reputation for going up in flames.. I had to replace all my fuel lines on mine under the bonnet because they were badly perished..
