servicinhg my car today and the filter didnt come with a washer does this mean i dont need to change it as it is not a squash washer?!?!?!?!
car leaks as it is without leaking right from the bottom 
also got new tailights to go on and door handles (when i get them) and boot handle

the filter should have its own rubber o ring.
it wont come with a sump plug washer? wou will need to buy a new sump plug and washer it you want that

well i have only ever changed two oil filters. one had the filter and a new squash washer in it. so i wasnt sure.
so does avux have a solid washer or sqaush?

Should be a solid copper washer mate, if it is it should be ok.

copper washer part number 11023582 i think saddo ex vauxhall parts still know the number but shouldnt leak as will be copper mate
