ive just fitted a post 97 bumper and ive gone to fit the grill but it doesnt fit well and i cant find a way of securing it in place. at the moment it looks like this:


it fits against it when i push it forwards but i cant find a way of securing it in place, any ideas???

I think you have to drill the mounting holes in the <97 cars

its fitted into a post 97 bumper, so i dont know why its like this

you have to clip the grill in at the bottom proper..
i didn't both drilling the top on mine, and it stay's in fine

give it some welly and itl clip in at the bottom

as ste L said, you don't really need the screws in there to keep it in place, just clip it into the bumper and put the bonnet down, sits find and won't come off.
i drove about for 6 months without the screws attached and never came off or moved about once.

ive tried all weekend and today to get the grill to hold. i can push it forward, but nothing seems to clip into place it just comes back again. this is the grill i have, do the fastening clips on the bottom look correct??
