Opinions from people who have driven them
Maybe fancy upgrading to a "new" car soon and keeping the gsi as a project car (if i can persuade parents )
What are these like in terms of preformance and handling etc?
Just come to light as ive can insure one for a good price
Only thing i dont like is how common they are

good handling cars need more poke IMO
The betterbuy is a Focus ST170 hands down.
Went a test drove a ST150 with my mum and we decided to keep the Focus as it was much nice to drive and had better midrange.

I'd say dont get one. Well too common now. Alot of money for alot of nothing IMHO. And quite slow. A mates has been slightly tuned running 165bhp and my standard 2ltr was running 151bhp and he didnt stand a chance. And i missed 3rd 3 times Wouldn't recommend getting one. Think outside the box.

I know the Fezzy St you can get cossie inlets tb's etc but thats silly money
ST170's are much better this is my mums:

it also has he ubber rare Recaro leathers and I gurantee you its better to drive than the fezzy which IMO is a stupid buy as their residuals are getting worse due to the new Corsa outselling it!

grp 15 I thnk
I drive a 210bhp GSi and I still get in this and cant wipe the smile off my face when I dive it, Sounds good as standard goes round corners like its on rails, and it may not set the road alight but its about driving experience and owning a car thats great out of thebox.
It could do with more grunt but I now want summin more fun to drive and power is no more the end all and see all of owning a car.

i really like them, in the end i brought a clio sport because at the time a couple of years ago they were slightly out of my price range. test drove a couple and they feel really solid on the road for a small car
Gota be white though imo

CTR is better but that is silly money for insurance, The Fiesta ST is very underpowered and will still cost you a lot insurance wise as it's a 2 litre.

Cosworth inlet, exhaust and a remap and you're over 200bhp.
