Well, its that time again, or it will be come saturday morning.

Bought a car a couple of months back now, i've had my private reg transferred to it etc.

I got the tax reminder a couple of weeks back, but its got the cars original registration on it!

Can i still tax the car, at the local post office, with my private reg on, or do i have to go to the main dvla office to get this sorted?

I think you will need it sorting as the Post Office will query the registration.

have you got the log book back.

1. you need it to get your tax
2. just take that (with the new reg) and you dont need to take the reminder thingy
