Just been looking to buy a new car.
After phoning Flux the girl on the phone said the quote was based on 2 years NCB, when i only have 1 years? 
i started the year on my red astra and have copies of the original forms i filled in for proof of NCB etc and the policy came back stating 1 years NCB, but when i changed to the black turbo astra a month or so ago i got my policy back without checking and have only noticed now it says 2 years NCB?
i asked the girl on the phone today if 2 years was correct as i thought it was wrong and she said yes- Liverpool Victoria the previous year had stated 2 years NCB?
so- in this last week i have had a few quotes on some cars i would like to buy, but i presume they will all be based on 2 years NCB.
Should i phone up and get them to correct the NCB and make sure they keep the quotes as they were as it is their fuck up?

Asking them to send you written confirmation so you can use it for a new policy.

Im with Frizell and they sed ive got 2 ync too lol im about to renew myne so i duno wat im doin either.
One of them is an introductory 1 years no claims bonus not sure if you class it tho will be good if you can

i think liverpool victoria would of given me 2 years for my first year with them if i hadnt had to claim

I have 10 years coming up to 11 and been driving for 5. 
When with Renault for a few years apparently I earned some bonus accelerator scheme. Adrian Flux accepted this and have now been with them for nearly 3 years. I have it confirmed in writing also

i was with Frizell (Liverpool Victoria) previously too, so i may have a free years NCB then too? ill just get Flux to have it down in writing to me.

just checked my old Liverpool Victoria documents and they were going to give me a free years no claims at the end of my policy when it was renewed, so i guess it has been carried over, which is a bonus

I got 2 years off Frizzell, after my first year. Don't know if I was supposed to.

I think its to do with the actual percentage NCB discount companies give.
1years with one company might be a 20% discount, 1years with another might be 10% for example.
So when they see 20% NCB, they take it as 2years.
