Right ive got a work van so it aint my daily drive...But i cant use is for goin to shows ect and can only carry 2 people.

Ive looked at sooooo many cars but seems that insurance is an issue tbh...Im goin for a new car so gotta be fully comp otherwise id get any car scooby...As tpft is under 1600 on a group 16 car...Put fully comp is 3k+..im 20 with 0NCB but got 5 months left till i get my 1st one...

These are the cars ive looked at..:

Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDi sport 110ps (grp 9)
Golf Mk4 Gti 20v T (grp 14)
Golf Mk4 Gti 110ps (grp 10)
Corsa Sri (grp 8/9)
Polo Gti (grp 12)
206 Gti (grp 14

Ive got 5k to spend and dont want an all out rapid car as tbh insurance will be high so gonna keep this for a few years or so then give it back...
But ive swayin towards the Corsa Sri as i can get a mint one for a really good price..

Once again thanks

I'd say either a VW for build quality and being overall bullet proof or even the 206 GTI for sheer fun round corners

Get a diesel, you'll save a load over the years on fuel alone.

putting them cars together is a difficult one.

The 206 for flair and handling

The SRi corsa as a sensible choice

Lupo GTi is uber cool and good build quality and residuals but will feel boring to drive.

Diesel Ibiza, well purely if you want economy when comparing that agaisnt the rest of the list.

The golfs wont be anything special, id only go for one of those if you are dead set on owning a 'golf'.

Ta seth..

fuel econemy dosnt really bother me but i want some fun and resemble quick like my xe corsa was or there about...Plus i will be tidying it up ect...

Just looked at another 106Gti for 3.5k would be less payin back and also the monthy installments..
I know i cant insure anything stupid quick or even fast....but something like i said the xe corsa then id be happy..

Are the corsa 1.8 sri really that slow...Slower than a manztel'ed 1.6 corsa?
Also the 206gti 137ps version was told was really underpowered for a 2.0

no point lol, the jump is huge! im paying £340 ins on my 206 GTi (group 14) and for a clio it was £890... so almost 3x as much. and when i got a quote when i was 22, it was £1080 iirc

just in case youre wondering im now 23 with 3yrs ncb
