Would you believe it... This is a write off!!
Managed to buy it back for £245..
How much do you think I'm looking at paying for the following damage from the pics.. No Chassis damage..

Any proffessional/amateur comments/advice on the previous pics would be great... I'd really like to get this back on the road. I was thinking the cheapest way is to buy the parts (Bonnet, Headlights, Front bumper, Slam Panel, Front bumper reinforcement and radiator) seperately and get someone to fit it.. Shouldn't amount to too much!?

Find another corsa of the same colour in a scrappy and use parts off that. Do the work yourself.

Then it will be worth doing

Wouldn't you say it is?
I could get it fixed up I think for about 6/7 hundred... then your looking at £1000 for a £2000 car.. They pre-value'd it at £2455 lol.
Or do you know your shit & think this isn't a easy job?

Whats up with the bonnet? Doesn't look bent to me. I'd do what you have just said. But use the bonnet thats already on it. And if your on a low budget then use your front bumper till you save up your £££'s.

Even if you did do it, Its not going to be TOO cheap and even if/when you come to sell it your going to have to state its been a write off devaluing it loads, imo.

thats an easy job. I think that getting the slam pannel off will be a bitch. But apart from that it's just undoing a few nuts and bolts.

What cat is it?

It's ummm, the Cat when the cost of repairs are too expensive or whatever.

See that's what I was thinking of the basic, easy parts i'll replace and then take it too the garage for repairs of the slam panel and radiator.

I'd hope that it shouldn't cost too much, even if I buy the parts brand new.

Don't fancy a track car, need a car to get me round lol

Be good if there was someone local-ish who might wanna take a look at it and perhaps do the job?? Anyone?

Your insurance company is rubbish. Back in February my car was damaged to the value of about £1800 pre-excess, they didn't right it off. I was a touch lucky

Is it a Cat C or a Cat D?
Cat C will require a VIC etc before it can go back on the road, Cat D won't.
My Laguna was written off for less than that! All it needed was a new wing, wing mirror and door.
