Last year at Legoland my little cousin (6) found a watch on the ground. It worked until recently when the battery went... My Cousin took him to the shop to get a new battery and the shop clerk said the watch was worth a few quid...

£950 to be precise

Lucky bastid!

In exchange for the watch I'll buy him tickets to Legoland again to see if he can get another one. . .

Nice.

My mate bought a watch whilst he was serving in Iraq. It was some gold thing with Saddam Husseins face on the watch face. Bought it off some street seller type bloke. He got it valued in the UK and it's worth about £1200 Needless to say he never paid anywhere near that.

Apparently it's a watch that was issued to Saddams staff, thats why its worth a few quid. Rare.

Some manufacturers track them.

Most omega's aren't that posh though.

All rolex's are afaik, but thats only because they like to keep up the illusion of posh.

They are only worth so much because rolex artificially keep them at that price.
You have to sell it at what they tell you to or they won't give you any to sell.
Nice movements right enough.

So a 6 year old has been wandering round with the best part of a grand strapped to his wrist?
