Just been out looking for some cars and came across a Standard W reg corsa B 1.2 8v in arden blue with 48000 miles for...£595 in a garage!!!! Is it just me or is that a bit cheap? Got cd player and 6x9s, checked for rust, corroded jacking points etc and found nothing, seems spotless!!

May not be a 1.2 8 v, were no badges on it that was just a guess. Didnt have a spoiler on it so not a sport. It had post 97 bumpers but they were black, i thought they were usually colour-coded. May be a cat c or d but couldnt see any damage or anything too obvious unless its been fixed n put back on the road

Sounds dodge to me too. I wouldn't expect that price privately, let alone in a garage.

Turns out is a repaired Cat D, not that good condition, roof lining stained, seat ripped etc, needed a new driveshaft and they had put the price up to £995, went to the garage and bought a 1997 fiesta for £750 instead
