I was allowed to lower mine. Then again i didnt tell them

i told them that i had different alloys on my car and they said they didnt care about what mods it had unless it was engine

i love when my insurance company says are the alloys standard and i say i dont know i think so cause they have the vauxhall badge on them, mwah hahahahaha

theyre only bothered about performance mods, not cosmetic

You have to declair any mods now...dunno if cosmetics actaully effect the priemium though.

no cosmetics do nothing, i gave them a ring and said i planned on lowering, spoiler and a set of alloys...all the woman said was would it affect performance, and if not then the premium would stay the same

Think they mean if what ever mod you do adds bhp.

Not handle round corners or what not, even though in theory more bhp makes you go faster and lowering makes you go faster round corners if the right person is driving it.
